Breakfast was rather poor. I got an impression that the owner of the hotel tried to save on everything.
the location was in the center- and near the train station, the staff was helpful and polite, the breakfast was ok
the pillows were hard -but this is a matter of taste- and the tv had onlly italian channels except for cnn
Great staff at the front desk: helpful and friendly. The hotel was nothing special: basic and clean, a good 3 star hotel. Good breakfast for morning. Good location: not in the very center but in an easy walk to the Duomo.
They could improve the decoration. Near parking expensive: over eur 25/day and with the key in the car. Better to use the parking near the train station.
Renewed and clean bathroom, smiling stuff, good breakfast but room was little bit small for 4 person. There is a market near by the hotel.
wifi in lobby OK but it would be better to have it available in the rooms. breakfast is adequate for a continental breakfast. Coffee is good. Room is comfortable and clean and bathroom is big and clean. Room 205. Only 5 minutes walk from railway station and close to market and shops and tourist attractions and restaurants.
No wifi in rooms. TV in room only has Italian programs.
Staff was very friendly, had patience to expalin how to get to all tourist attractions we asked for and to please us during our stay. The room has a lot of space and it was walking distance from the street fair and main and train station.
Though the location was good, there were a lot of hotels of the same level in nicer streets and closer to the touristic attractions. Cleaness of the room was very bad, bathroom had dust from years.
Hotel is central - ideal location....our room was quite. Recommended hotel
Rooms are a bit dated. Cleanliness fair.
Proximity to the station and to places we wanted to visit. Friendly welcome. Cleanliness and comfort of room and prompt provision of hairdryer when we discoverd the bathroom hairdryer was not working
No problem just for a two night visit but, as expected, the front facing rooms can be noisy at night. We had requested a quiet room but the room was so comfortable we decided that it would be fine for two nights.
I will never stay there again. You pay too much, get very few.
Our first room was noisy and there was smoke smell in the room. They changed us to a smaller room, but very warm, so we could not sleep properly. Besides, the bed was broken. Breakfast was poor.
The location is near the places of interest, the staff is very kind.
Because the hotel is beside the main street, so it is a little noisy.
The location of the hotel
First of all the parking was problem. Hotel has no parking place and heating was not working, room was cold.
Location is very close to the station
The interiors are not very attracrive, Doesn;t give the look of a hotel room
The hotel was very clean, the bathroom quite large and the room not a bad size. Location very good and within close proximity to sights of interest.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable - they need to be replaced. We had to take a shelf out of the cupboard to place under the mattress to prevent sinking into the springs. We parked our car with the nearby garage as recommended by the hotel and we found the attendant there very unfriendly and not at all service oriented. Breakfast was poor. Difficulty making a long distance call from the room due to desk clerk's lack of understanding. The hotel was extremely difficult to find.
Friendly service and good italian music from the tv set ;)
We stayed at Hotel Eden only for one night as we went to Florence for only a weekend. We wanted a budget hotel and this was a lot cheaper than other hotels we've stayed in so we didn't expect much. However, it was really good value for money. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom. Everything was clean. Airconditioning worked perfectly. The room had a small safe and tv. There was a lift so we didn't have to use stairs. It wasn't noisy. Free WiFi only in the lobby which worked really well. 5 minutes' walk from the train station and they kept our bags after we checked out to pick up later. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast offered some pastries, coffee, ham, cheese, juices, yoghurt. Not a huge range but what would you expect for that price? We walked everywhere in Florence and this hotel was well located for it. We would recommend this hotel for anyone who plans to spend most of their time outside of the hotel but still wants a cool and comfortable room to go back to at the end of the day.
The room was dimly lit.
